About the artist

The hand behind the lines.

I draw the places people want to remember.

Original line drawings, available as prints or made personally from your photographs.

The approach

Every place has a line worth following.

Lines by Louis is a collection of places, people and moments drawn by hand. Some begin with a street or a distant roofline; commissioned pieces begin with the photographs you share.

Each drawing is pared back to the marks that matter—the details that make a place recognisable, and the imperfections that let it feel alive.

Drawn slowly.

  1. 01

    Look closely

Architecture, streets and landscapes are held in their small details. The drawing begins by noticing them.

  2. 02

    Keep the character

The aim is not perfect geometry. It is the feeling of a place, carried by an unhurried, human line.

  3. 03

    Draw to last

Finished drawings become small-edition prints, made on archival paper and intended to be kept.
